Berglund Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is looking for an Experienced Service Manager. We are part of Berglund Automotive, a well-established and reputable automotive group with 10 locations, representing 20 different automotive brands throughout Southwest and Central Virginia.
We are looking for a Service Manager that provides leadership to the team through continuous support, training, and development as well as ensuring that customers receive high-quality maintenance and repair services.
Job Summary:
As a Service Manager at Berglund Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, you will be responsible for overseeing the service and maintenance operations for the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of service technicians and service advisors, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service by providing concierge support to build a positive relationship with customers.
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of repair and maintenance work.
- Handling conflicts that may arise within the service department and addressing customer complaints in a professional and effective manner.
- Distribute work between technicians.
- Prioritize required services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram or domestic service departments.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Knowledge of CDK a plus.
- Computer skills, including knowledge of automotive service management software.
- Experience managing and motivating a team in a positive manner.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and vendors.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
