What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Architect position at Bergmann?
We are looking for Licensed Architects in Michigan and Ohio to join #TeamBergmann!
What You'll Be Doing: The Project Architect is responsible for applying diversified principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and projects. Project Architects take the client's vision and ideas from the Project Manager and turn them into workable plans that allow our teams to create the buildings and structures our customers dream of.
Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will be a registered architect in Michigan and/or Ohio, and will have 3 years or more architecture experience. All candidates must have a Bachelors in Architecture from an accredited university and be proficient in REVIT to be considered for this role.

- The ability to work independently without a lot of direct supervision
In addition, our Project Architects also:
- Prepare and modify reports for projects, including construction scheduling, environmental impact studies, and other necessary documentation
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure QA/QC, is responsible for making design decisions independently, and reviews RFIs and submittals
- May be the on-site representative for Bergmann at client meetings and may assist with meeting notes, budget, and fee scheduling for each project
- Are responsible for the construction documentation, as well as insuring code compliance for designs
- Pay close attention to detail and have the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with others is a must in this role
