This position works within our regulatory department to support Customer Care, Sales & Sample Lab with needed paperwork and related questions. 

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities: 

•  Respond to Customer emails, faxes, and telephone requests for documentation
• Review products and formulations for compliance to local and international regulations.
• Evaluate, file, and connect raw material documentation into electronic systems.
• Create and manage SDS’s for outgoing orders
• Support Production with label correction and associated paperwork
• Support Customer Care, Sales, and Sample Lab with needed paperwork and related questions
• Collaborate with Purchasing to acquire necessary documentation from vendors for Food Safety
• Comply with all relevant SQF procedures and regulations
• Performs other regulatory duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in regulatory/compliance area

Skills and/ or Physical Requirements: 

•  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate using both written and verbal communication with diverse work groups, including customers and internal Berje employees
• Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
•  Team oriented, yet able to work independently
• English language reading, writing, and speaking
• Computer skills including MS Word & Excel
•  Attention to detail
• Ability to analyze regulatory requirements for specific orders
