Lead Utility Worker
LOCATION: Berkeley Springs State Park
Pay Rate: $13/hr
DUTIES: To perform as lead manager of the pool/snack bar, coordinate and direct
special events, in-house laundry service, and function as the lead gift
shop associate.
Responsible for staffing, scheduling, supervising, food ordering/inventory, overseeing Camplife at the swimming pool and snack bar during summer season.
Responsible for coordinating and directing all special events on the
Park’s grounds, including securing Park staffing as needed.
Responsible for ordering, inventory control, labeling and stocking of items, and
Camplife oversight.
Responsible for helping to maintain safety standards in the workplace. Assists in maintaining a clean work environment.
Assists in training new personnel.
May be asked to assist in solving issues that would arise with guest or employees in the absence of the Spa Manager or Gift Shop Manager. May be asked to assist with any new or creative ideas that would pertain to enhancing the hospitality of Park operations.
May be assigned low to intermediate level supervisory duties in a variety of park work settings. Will do hands-on work within the area of assignment plus all related work as required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: None, except pertinent experience is beneficial.
