What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor position at Berks Career & Technology Center?
BCTC is a public school that prepares high school and adult students for successful careers and higher education through highly acclaimed, integrated academic and technical education experience. We are currently looking to fill the following position immediately:Part-time Evening Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor: The ideal candidate will teach basic foundational elements of residential plumbing through a combination of lecture and applied learning via hands-on activities. Experience includes knowledge of installation and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to manuals, specifications and plumbing codes. Knowledge shall also include safety and proper mechanical practices. Must possess experience working within plumbing trade at a Journey Level or a minimum of three (3) years of full-time on-the-job experience or a combination of training and experience. The ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in working with professional residential plumbing.
