Berman STAR Nissan is looking to add 1 Porter to the Team!
Job Title: Automotive Porter
Location: Niles, IL
Pay: $15/HR
Schedule:
Mondays: 3pm-8pm
Wednesdays: 3pm-8pm
Thursdays: 12pm-8pm
Fridays: 3pm-8pm
Saturdays: 9am-6pm
(Off Tuesdays & Sundays)
Must be able to work the exact schedule and have a valid driver’s license with a 3 year minimum clean driving record

Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance with locating vehicles or directing them to the appropriate department
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles on the lot, including washing and vacuuming dealership and customer vehicles
- Moving vehicles to designated areas
- Safely provide vehicle pickup and delivery for customers
- Assist with the organization and management of vehicle inventory, including tracking vehicle locations and updating inventory systems as needed
- Perform regular checks of vehicle keys and ensure they are stored securely and accounted for at all times
- Routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the appearance and functionality of the dealership building and grounds
- Work closely with sales, service, and other dealership departments to support overall operations and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances, and common areas, by sweeping and trash removal
- Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 year min)
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as needed
- Punctuality and reliability in attendance
- Dependable work ethic with a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently
- Familiarity with basic building maintenance tasks
- Willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance duties as assigned
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively
