Overview
We are seeking a Consultant to join our Local Government Practice Group on the Justice team. You will provide consulting services for public sector courts and prosecutors that include project management, process analysis, operational reviews, organizational development, and systems planning and selection leading to implementation oversight for large-scale computer system projects. This team member will be located in our Portland, Maine and report to project managers on the Justice team.
Travel Expectations: Willingness to travel 35-50%
Responsibilities
You will:
- Support the delivery of services to clients on time, within scope, and within budget, including assisting in creating written deliverables and other work products
- Participate in meetings and interviews with client stakeholders and assist in documenting client needs and challenges
- Participate in staff/team meetings and training and work effectively as a team player on multiple client projects
- Support additional team operations on an as needed basis including events and marketing, internal research projects, and ongoing professional development initiatives
Qualifications
You have:
- BA/BS Degree in English, Communications, Political Science or Business Administration (or similar)
- 0-4 years of professional experience in a law firm, court or prosecutor's office or with court or prosecution software vendors
- Relevant experience in project coordination and/or research
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and/or Project is desired but not required
Compensation Details
The base salary range targeted for this role is $55,000-$75,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
