Position: Seasonal Part-Time Sales Associate
Description: Bertrand’s Music is looking to hire seasonal sales associates to join our team for our upcoming busy rental season.
Candidates must be available to work through September 30th.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage guests, providing exceptional customer service with warmth and efficiency.
- Exceed guest expectations consistently, cultivating a reputation for exceptional service.
- Maintain attentiveness to guests’ needs throughout their visit, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Keep displays immaculate, merchandise stocked, signage visible, and products rotated regularly.
- Educate guests on our wide range of musical products confidently and informatively.
- Exhibit a positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude, promoting effective teamwork and respect.
- Foster positive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and management through respectful and open communication.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, effectively prioritizing tasks in a sometimes pressurized environment.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety in the store environment.
- Possess general knowledge of Band & Orchestra instruments, assisting customers with expertise and insight.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work from July to September 30th.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week in July, with the option to increase hours in August/September based on store needs and your availability, up to 40 hours per week.
- Comfortable working outside school events and evening hours as needed.
- Passion for the music industry and a solid understanding of Band & Orchestra Instruments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, embracing challenges with a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with a commitment to follow-through and prioritization.
- Familiarity with general accounting and cash register operations.
