BCBA Program Manager
Responsibilities:
- Participate in team diagnostic assessment, behavior consultations, treatment planning and family therapy, and outpatient skills for clients with behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns with an emphasis on autism spectrum disorders
- Oversee the development of treatment goals for each client
- Model and assist in effective conflict management as necessary
- Have an understanding of DHS state policies and insurances
- Support the therapeutic program within the ABA group including routines, activities, and other therapeutic environment issues
- Provide work direction, supervision and support to ABA direct care staff as needed
- Works with staff to coordinate and engage in intake sessions
- Lead clinical staff meetings and provide input on staff annual reviews
- Building programing and training lead staff in training behavioral therapists in working with clients.
- Engaging in community education and events as needed and available.
- Taking part in hiring and termination of employees as appropriate
- Providing training and direction for new and current staff
- Provide supervision and direction for staff furthering their education or working towards certification.
- Be up to date on policy changes for EIDBI and ABA services to ensure compliance
- Adapt programming to reflect any changes to policy or process per DHS guideline
- 20-30 hours of billable services per week. This is with the understanding that in the initial couple of months there will be a number of weeks or months that there are about 10-15 hours of billable units per week due to developing the program, doing training for staff and ensuring compliance.
Requirements:
- MA, MS, or Ph.D. required.
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Current Mental Health Professional Minnesota license preferred. (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW or LP)
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable record required.
- Eligible to provide clinical supervision for therapy services preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in treatment program leadership and coordination for children with ASD or related diagnoses preferred
- Effective communication in the English language
- Computer proficiency using Word and Excel with proficiency in keyboarding skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Has an understanding of billing requirements per state insurances
