What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operating Room Registered Nurse position at Best Impression Cosmetic Surgery?
We are seeking a full-time nurse to join our plastic surgery team! We perform breast, body, and facial cosmetic surgery procedures. We are looking for an experienced OR nurse for our plastic surgery outpatient surgery center (2 days/week, Wednesdays and Thursdays), primarily scrubbing in. You would also be seeing patients in the office 1.5-2 days/week, as part of the full time position. We are open to splitting the position into 2 part-time positions, if necessary. We are looking for 1 or 2 energetic, motivated individuals to join our team!
Responsibilities include:
Operating Room
-Operating room time (scrubbing in and assisting) a must
-Maintaining OR inventory, supplies, implant consignment, and equipment a must
-Assisting OR manager with administrative duties
-Instrument cleaning and processing
Office
-Chart review of preoperative patients- evaluating lab work, medical clearance, and preoperative and postoperative medications
-Clinical experience evaluating preoperative patients and caring for postoperative patients a plus
Candidates must have:
-At least 2 years of operating room experience (scrubbing in and proficient sterile technique)
-ACLS and BLS certification
-RN or BSN degree
-Please provide a cover letter and 2 references
