What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Best Line Equipment?
We are currently seeking a shop mechanic at our Keyport, NJ location. If you are looking for a unique experience working for an industry leading dealership and rental organization, we want to speak with you!
As a shop technician, you play a vital role in the dealer/customer relationship, ranging from equipment prep/set-up to advanced diagnostic and repair. Ongoing training is provided for all technicians through our mentorship program as well as OEM online and factory training.
Job Overview:
- Troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain a variety of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
- Full-time position with excellent benefits and competitive compensation. 40-50 hours per week and 1 Saturday a month.
- Best Line has on-line and factory training benefits as well.
Requirements:
- Must possess strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and strong electrical and mechanical abilities.
- Beneficial experience would include welding/fabrication, DC electrical, hydraulic, combustion, and associated skill sets.
- Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.
- A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience will qualify.
Estimated annual compensation: $70,000 - $95,000 (dependent on experience)
