What are the responsibilities and job description for the Educational Mental Health Group Specialist position at Best Point Education & Behavioral Health?
Best Point is seeking an individual responsible for the supervision and therapeutic teaching of students in the Therapeutic Integrated Classroom. Assumes responsibility for facilitation of treatment groups.
Salary: $18.00 - 19.50/hr
Minimum Education, Experience and Other Skill Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field from an accredited institution (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. Leadership experience in child-serving systems (or in a closely related field) is strongly preferred. TFM Certified practitioner strongly preferred.
Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.
Work Environment:
Exposed to a combination of office, school and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive. May be exposed to blood or vomit and bodily fluids.
