Forklift Operator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in the Transportation and Warehousing industry. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products within our Distribution Center. Your primary goal will be to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity while adhering to strict safety standards. You will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers on time and in excellent condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid forklift operator certification
• Experience operating RF scan guns, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and distribution center operations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory management
• Experience with order picking and shipping processes

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move products within the Distribution Center
• Perform cycle counting and order picking to maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

Skills:

As a Forklift Operator, you will use your skills in RF scan gun operation, warehousing, WMS, pallet jack operation, forklift operation, cycle counting, order picking, and distribution center operations on a daily basis. You will need to be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Your ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions will be critical to your success in this role.
