What you will be doing

The GranTree Inn is looking for a qualified Sales Coordinator to join our Sales Team. The Sales Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be 60% administrative and 40% sales.

As the Sales Coordinator, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, as well as respond to their queries in a timely manner. The ultimate goal is to deliver a positive customer experience.

Another goal is to facilitate the team to maximize the sales department’s performance with a long-lasting development of the company.

As a Sales Coordinator, you will:

  • Assist the sales team in preparing and presenting proposals and billing receipts to clients.
  • Coordinate and organize sales meetings, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintain, compile and distribute accurate records of sales leads, customer interactions, and sales data.
  • Communicate with clients to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues.
  • Create and distribute sales materials, such as presentations, brochures, and samples.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest service needs are met.
  • Conduct research and weekly quota of cold calls to identify potential new customers and markets.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Monitor and report on sales activity, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team as needed.

Fundamentals

A high school degree or equivalent education is required, with a college degree helpful. Clear, effective verbal and written English communication skills are essential. This position requires excellent organization skills and attention to detail. The ability to operate a telephone, computer, and various software is expected, with Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge helpful. A general understanding of sales operations is also helpful.
