Summary/Objective
The Hotel Maintenance Technician performs various preventive maintenance and repair tasks to keep the hotel in top condition and ensure it meets guest expectations.
Essential Functions

- Conducting regular preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and facilities.
- Provide scheduled and unscheduled repairs for hotel property.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to complete required repairs and services.
- Diagnosing issues, replacing or repairing parts, and making necessary adjustments.
- Handling plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work as needed.
- Using hand and power tools, electrical meters, and other equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Identifying faulty operations or damaged materials and reporting issues to supervisors.
- Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience doing maintenance work in similar type of environment.
- Must be able to work well unsupervised and following instructions.
