Job description
We are looking for an outgoing individual to help cook and maintain food for our guests during breakfast hours. This position has a start time of 4:45 am and shift often completed by 11:30am
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Check food while cooking to stir or turn
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Skills
- Experience in using cutting tools, and cookware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.58 - $18.00 per hour
