Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm and inviting social atmosphere in our nursing facility.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct a variety of activities and wellness programs monthly.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics for campus outings.
- Schedule and organize speakers, performers, and group activities.
- Ensure daily activities are carried out, adjusting as needed to meet residents' needs.
- Facilitate both large and small group activities, as well as one-on-one visits.
- Maintain records of resident participation and adjust activities accordingly.
- Manage the volunteer program, including training and scheduling.
- Lead Resident Council meetings and attend Resident Care Conferences.
- Build relationships within the community to enhance resident engagement.
- Highly motivated and able to inspire and engage residents.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with older adults preferred.
- Creative and able to develop new and exciting programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Proficient with computers and able to maintain accurate records.
