As a Social Work Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the operations of the Families First Program and staff in partnership with leadership. This individual is also responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing positive work relationships with referral sources, state and federal agencies, volunteer and community agencies, employers, and individuals.
This position is expected to function effectively with limited supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, direct, and lead a team of direct report(s) and facilitate weekly meetings;
- Provide weekly individual and team supervision to supervisory staff;
- Cultivate a positive, team centered work environment;
- Oversee a team of staff regarding processes while ensuring compliance with external partners, and state policy and procedure;
- Participate in weekly staff meetings;
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures for staff evaluations, conference/training requests, timekeeping, and reimbursement requests;
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the program’s operating manual;
- Develop, maintain, and enhance a positive working relationship with referral sources, state and federal agencies, volunteer and community agencies, employers, and individuals;
- Hire, on-board, and train staff effectively to ensure efficient operations;
- Manage the intake and referral process;
- Participate in local and national project team meetings to enhance the provisions of provided services, as needed;
- Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage at all times;
- Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to services;
- Complete other duties as assigned.
