Job Title: Admissions Processor
Reporting Structure: Associate Director of Admissions Operations
Division: Division of Enrollment Management
Job Summary:
The Processor within the Office of Undergraduate Admission provides lead support in application processing. Responsibilities include the daily processing of prospective student applications into the University's student database and applies admission criteria in determining an admission decision for the applicant. The Processor also creates, maintains, and organizes student records using an imaging system and University student system software. Under the direction of the Admission Processor Director, the Processor assists in developing office processes and procedures to ensure work is effectively and accurately completed. A Processor may also be required to train new staff. The Processor is a vital part of the work conducted within the Office of Undergraduate Admission and in ensuring the University's attainment of new student enrollment goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides lead support in application processing.
Enters all new student application into the University’s student database.
Scan and indexes documents using imaging system, including downloading and indexing electronic transcripts.
Download test scores, applications, and transcripts.
Determines and administers admissions decisions based on University criteria.
Communicates with applicants by email, phone, social media and in-person from prospect to enrollment.
Responsible for building counselor – processor relationship to expedite admission process or all incomplete applications to admitted.
Generates reports for counselor and maintenance of electronic records for data accuracy.
Accurately follows University application guidelines.
Perform Required High School Curriculum (RHSC) evaluations; calculate High School GPAs for incoming students.
Enter prospective student information into communications database.
Assist with recruitment events periodically throughout the year, including some weekends.
Performs other duties assigned.

One or more years of related work experience
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Skills, Experience and Education:
Experience with Jenzabar student information system
