What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant position at Better Pain Solutions?
Our growing Chiropractic practice in Albany, OR has an immediate need for a positive, organized, and reliable Chiropractic Assistant. The candidate will be responsible for fulfilling a myriad of administrative and clinical duties including getting patients ready for various therapies, answering phones, scheduling, benefit verification, patient communication, filing and other duties listed below. We’re looking for someone with not only quality skills, but also a personality and mindset that aligns with growth, learning, and compassion to help us care for our wonderful patients. We believe in a positive and productive work environment and want to find someone who has a “go-getter” attitude and will be committed to helping the practice and patients. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and technologically savvy. Salary is based on experience. Ideal candidate would be able to start ASAP.
Job Duties
- Performing clerical duties such as: patient check-in and check-out, answering phones, pulling charts, and entering patient information into software etc.
- Managing patient coordination and keeping the flow of patients in and out of the office smooth
- Assisting the doctors with daily charges, notes, referrals, and orders with detail and accuracy
- Answering patient questions about their benefits and financial responsibilities
- Managing the doctors schedule while adhering to strict treatment protocols
- Assisting in performing various therapy modalities under the doctor’s supervision, including but not limited to decompression, laser therapy, and other therapeutic procedures
Training & Licensing:
Full training will be provided for all clinical and administrative procedures. We will also assist with licensing and certification required to perform therapies in Oregon.
