What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphics Technician position at Bexel?
We are seeking a full-time Graphics Technician to join our team. As a member of our GFX department you will help build, maintain, and support multiple GFX systems for our clients all over the globe. The GFX world is constantly changing as technology evolves. An open mind to continually learn new technology within the broadcast industry will be beneficial in this role. The ideal candidate should have 1 2 years experience working in a similar environment and some knowledge of computer hardware. This is a full-time hourly role on-site at our Grapevine, TX location. The schedule is Monday Friday 9am 6pm with overtime as needed. Occasional travel may be required 2 4 times a year for events.
Key Duties:
- Quality control of graphics hardware in house
- Build / assembly of computers, racked systems, packages
- Installation of software and configuration of systems
- Assist clients with tech support in person or over the phone when required
Requirements:
- Understanding of computer operating systems
- Understanding of a computers physical assembly.
- General networking knowledge preferred
- Ability to solve unusual or unexpected problems
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of real-time GFX platforms a plus.
