**Responsibilities:**
- Set up workstations and prep ingredients for cooking
- Cook dishes to business standards, ensuring quality and consistency
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including routine kitchen cleaning
- Prep for events and work efficiently on the line
- Execute precise timing of food preparation to ensure timely service
- Actively communicate with the team and provide excellent dining service to clients with a professional attitude
**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Proven working experience as a cook, preferably in a professional kitchen environment.
- Ability to read and write recipes accurately.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Strong culinary skills and understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to different event locations and catering venues within the SWVA region. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver's license, as transportation to various event locations and catering venues within the SWVA region may be required for this position.
