Horizon Medical Center of McKinney is an innovative, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered healthcare services to our community. As a brand-new 26-bed, in-patient rehab hospital we are committed to setting new standards in patient care and rehabilitation. We value compassion, excellence, and teamwork, and we are looking for a PRN Clinical Dietician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the quality of nutritional care provided to both hospitalized and ambulatory patients. The Clinical Dietician will perform nutritional assessments/evaluations and make nutritional and dietary recommendations. Responsibilities include providing patient counseling and education as well as developing nutritional care, and monitoring and implementing changes as appropriate.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Knowledge of modern principles and practices of dietetics preferred.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards applicable to hospital food service preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
