What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Supervisor position at BFS Companies?
Basic Function:
The district supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing, troubleshooting, and coordinating the day to day operations of the convenience stores for which he/she is responsible for.
Essential Functions:
- Gather, verify and submit accurate daily store reports.
- Complete, review and submit payroll and personnel transaction records in an accurate and timely basis.
- Monitor and analyze employee hours to determine cause for fluctuation.
- In conjunction with store manager; recruit, select, develop, supervise and evaluate store employees.
- Review invoices received from vendors to ensure accurate quantities received and accurate billing.
- Monitor and maintain acceptable gross margins by marketing and merchandising.
- Monitor and maintain proper expense dollars in all controllable categories.
- Assume responsibilities for store manager whenever the need arises
Qualifications:
- 3 years store management experience
Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.
