What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at BGSF?
BGSF has partnered with an up-and-coming start-up company here in Houston to fill a critical hire at the Controller level. This newly created Controller position is a high reward opportunity that offers huge upside with the autonomy to build out an entire Accounting Department from the ground floor. You will be responsible for establishing business processes/policies, creating a Chart of Accounts, implementing a new accounting software (currently on QuickBooks), reviewing 10K/10Q financials and geographic reporting (publicly traded overseas), and building out a Corporate Accounting Department over these next 12 months.

Qualifications
- CPA required
- US GAAP and IFRS knowledge, highly preferred
- 10 years experience; combination of public accounting industry experience (O&G/manufacturing preferred)
- Management/supervisory experience required
