Volunteer Community Service
- Assist in counseling community based clients
- Assist with incoming calls to the 24 hour hotline
- Assist in providing client advocacy appropriate safety planning
- Assist in facilitating support groups for women and/or children
- Assist in maintaining client documentation
- Complete mandatory 20 hour domestic violence certification training within first 2 weeks
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Enrolled in and pursuing degree in one of the following: social work, human services, women’s studies, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or related field
