Position Summary
As a CNA with Hoosier Village, you will care for residents under direction of nursing and medical staff. The shifts are 12 hours 7:00am - 7:00pm or 7:00pm - 7:00am. You will care for residents by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer signal lights to determine residents' needs
- Help residents bathe, dress, and undress
- Turn and reposition bedfast residents
- Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates
- Serve and collect food trays and feed residents that require help
- Transport residents by wheelchair or by assisting them to walk
- Clean, sterilize, store, prepare, and issue dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies
- Perform other needed tasks like running errands, directing visitors, and answering the telephone
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certified as a CNA in Indiana and in good standing
