ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employees are expected to perform essential duties to performance standards. · Assists with more involved tasks and projects (including irrigation, landscaping, etc.).
· Assists in identifying maintenance needs, planning & scheduling of maintenance activities.
· Assists with special projects as assigned.
· Performs basic facility maintenance repairs and improvements and assists with more involved tasks and projects.
· Conducts general maintenance of facilities and general upkeep of the grounds, including trash pickup.
· Ensures that equipment is in good repair and working order.
· Completes work orders assigned in a timely manner.
· Assists in the preparation for special events and visits.
· Meets regularly with Supervisor to review priorities and project status.
· Maintains confidentiality of HIPAA and other confidential and sensitive information.
· Maintains the highest level of integrity and professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
· Attends and participates in required trainings on topics relevant to the job and to behavioral healthcare.
· Performs job responsibilities and maintains all records in accordance with BHP’s policy, procedure and protocol, and as appropriate to the job, all regulatory authorities’ accreditation/licensure/
certification standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.
· Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
The employee assigned to this position is responsible for achieving each of the following key performance indicators (KPI’s) to the specified standard. The employee is likewise accountable for consistently meeting or exceeding all of this job’s essential duties to performance standards as are evaluated throughout the course of employment, and which are rated during the performance evaluation period.
A. Work orders are completed within 5 working days.
B. Facilities/grounds are clean and in good repair at all times.
C. The organization’s facilities pass all inspections.
D. All job-related certification and accreditation standards are met.
E. Demonstrates courtesy and respect in relationships with other staff and provides assistance to staff when needed. Employee does not engage in conflicts with others.
SCOPE OF SUPERVISION:
Good interior/exterior working conditions at multiple sites. Occasional exposure to dirt, dust and chemicals. Possible exposure to inclement weather.
USUAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee frequently converses verbally with others in person. The employee regularly lifts up to 50 pounds. The employee stands for extended periods of time and regularly walks throughout multiple work sites including up and down stairs. The employee frequently sits in a vehicle for periods of time while riding to and from multiple sites.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicable laws or regulations require that employees assigned to some jobs attain a specific level of education, experience, or training, and license or certification. For other jobs, a combination of various levels and types of education, experience, training, and license or certification may qualify a person to perform essential duties of this position. Qualifications specified for this position are:
Education, Experience and Training
High School diploma (or equivalent) and two years maintenance experience. An appropriate combination of experience, training, education and course work may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Licenses or Certifications
Valid work permit if in High School. State of Ohio Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Additional Qualifications
Upon conditional hire, and as a condition of employment, each employee is to submit to and pass a drug test, criminal background check, and to submit to driving record check, personal vehicle inspection, and be insurable under BHP’s driving insurance provider guidelines depending on job assigned job duties.
Ability to document personal identity and employment eligibility within three days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act (I-9) requirements.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
