Job Description: Full-time, Days The eLearning Educator/LMS Administrator and Support Service Education serves as the primary educator for the Support Services (including contract employees) and provides educational opportunities to develop and enhance written competencies for Support Services and Clinical Support Services. This multifunctional role is responsible for oversight of all eLearning system functions within the Education Department at BHLEX including publication of modules, author support, user support, compliance reporting, and archiving of on-line records and educational materials. Creates and maintains aspects of Educational Development activities for on-line educational materials as needed for BHLEX employees. These activities include, but are not limited to, implementing, optimizing, and sustaining the Learning Management System (LMS) program assignment structure and administration at BHLEX. Tasked with ensuring that the LMS is developed in such a way to keep content concise, organized, and intuitive to access for users. Responsible for training department webpage authors, auditing department webpage(s) for appropriateness, and troubleshooting issues with department webpage(s) and registration system(s) as needed. Responsible for collaborating with the Education Department’s Certification Coordinator on functionality issues related to the on-line certification education program. Responsible for collaborating with Audiovisual services on the production of multi-media presentations for educational programming and support/education for users of these services and functions. Develops, coordinates, and teaches in the first-line supervisor orientation program and other educational activities facilitating education and competency management, documentation, and evaluation. -BA/BS Degree in Healthcare, Training and Development, Human Resource Development, Education, or equivalent and demonstrated skills in delivering training; Master’s Degree in Education or Learning Technology preferred. -AHA Current BLS certification -Basic HTML coding skills preferred -Knowledge of medical terminology -Three (3) years teaching/instructional experience, curriculum development, and instructional design -Hands-on knowledge and experience developing engaging and interactive training materials in a variety of formats with authoring technologies, intranet design tools, and multimedia applications such as Adobe Presenter, Lectora and/or Toolbook, or similar product (e-learning software) - Experience in e-learning concepts and tools -Two (2) years Learning management system administrator experience -Two (2) years healthcare related experience preferred If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
