Job Description:
ED Paramedic
Full-Time I Second Shift
Emergency Dept. I Lexington, KY
$30,000 Sign on Bonus Available for Qualified Individuals
Unit Description:
Emergency Medical Services that provide urgent pre-hospital care and transport to patients. Baptist Health Lexington Ambulance Service is a provider established in Lexington, Kentucky operating as an Ambulance with a focus in land transport.
Description for Paramedic:
- Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician’s assistant, emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or a professional registered nurse.
- Patient Assessment in conjunction with an RN repeat assessment.
- Provides care to the ED patient.
- Accurate Documentation of care provided into EMR system.
- Ensures positive customer relations interactions.
Requirements for Paramedic:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
