Big-D Heavy Industrial, is looking for a Construction Manager- Traveling to join our team based in Miami, AZ. This position will be required to travel,

Experience/Training

• Fully understand scope and contract interpretation

• Construction methodology for all disciplines:

• Civil

• Concrete
• Structural
• Mechanical
• Piping
• Electrical
• Instrumentation
• Commissioning

• Closeout

• Construction execution alignment to estimate

• Schedule development
• Overall resource management (both internal and subcontractor/vendors)
• Bachelor's degree or 7 to 10 years of related experience working on industrial/commercial construction projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations:
(other duties may be assigned to meet business needs)

• Collaborate with client, Project Manager, other construction management to determine budget and timeline for project execution
• Ensure that the construction project complies with all safety and environmental requirements
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements
• Manage the development of daily employee and subcontractor logs and monitor the conduct of each one of them.
• Work with the client and project Engineering team to ensure that the project complies with all design and specification requirements
• Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs
• Conduct an in-depth analysis of the project to ensure execution within the schedule and budget
• Establish risk factors, then manage and mitigate them to ensure the construction goes on smoothly.
• Work with all applicable authorities to obtain permits for the project.
• Work with Project team members to prepare progress, productivity, and cost reports for the project.
• Overall responsibility to manage and report out on the project schedule
• Work with team members and Subcontractors to develop contingency and recovery plans toward schedule management
• Maintain and deliver, for transmittal, a daily log for the job site's operations
