We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast-casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. Compensation : 12 - $16 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Cook food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions
- Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Wash, cut, dice, chop, and slice food items to stock prep stations
- Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
- Check food temperatures with thermometers to ensure that food has reached safe levels of heat for consumption
