Responsibilities•
To contribute to this mission, the Permit Coordinator will efficiently gather and submit all specified plans, supplemental documents, and application materials required by local building and planning departments to permit the design and construction of internal projects
•An integral member of Big Wave's Design Team, the Permit Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the permitting process progresses smoothly and in a timely manner
•Submit & track permit packets to local municipalities driving permits to a zero-queue each day – including building, fire, electrical, generator, temporary, etc. permits
•File permits submitted immediately following the specified turn-around time
•Communicate clearly and quickly with design managers about changes to process or obstacles to workflow
•Follow-up on outstanding submittals with appropriate jurisdictions to move projects through the permitting process as quickly as possible
•Update the Design Team’s internal database, permit trackers, and other spreadsheets daily to capture nuances from jurisdiction to jurisdiction
•Track due dates, forecast permit dates, and help facilitate permit issuance
•Build a working and effective relationship with planners, building reviewers, and other permit application reviewers in the jurisdictions

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
