What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Biggby Coffee?
Do you desire to use your professional demeanor to organize a great team to build brand awareness, serve the best products in the coffee business, and become known as Charlotte's most vibrant go-to coffee house? We are looking for a full-time individual who is eager, bold, energetic, detail-oriented, works well with others, and can assist the manager in the coffee shop's daily functions, operations, ordering, scheduling, communications, hiring, crew management, marketing, and more. If this person is you, and you are willing to help build up the crew, invest in the infrastructure, and maintain the store's integrity, then please apply. Routine shifts Wednesday-Sunday, and non-routine calls, messages, and emails as needed; the assistant manager may have to fill unexpected shifts, come in early, and/or stay late with little notice, and do tasks from home when needed.
This hard work requires commitment, a high capacity, and an outstanding work ethic with top-notch communication skills. Must be willing to commit to the job for at least two years. Promotion to manager is entirely possible within 3-6 months. Starting pay is $14/hour plus tips.
