What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Detailer position at Bighorn Airways Inc?
The aircraft detailer is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of BHA aircraft, in coordination with the aircraft maintenance department.
Essential Job Functions
- Wash exterior of aircraft, clean interior of aircraft, clean aircraft windows, clean aircraft seats, detail interior, polish and wax aircraft.
- Clean and treat aircraft deice boots on a regular basis.
- Clean and detail customer aircraft as necessary.
- Clean maintenance hangar and hangar floors as necessary.
- Learn proper aircraft cleaning techniques and materials from maintenance personnel (ensure non-compatible materials are not used on aircraft or aircraft components).
- Advise and coordinate with the parts manager when aircraft cleaning supplies need to be ordered.
