Director Psychiatry NursingChicago, IL (Great commuter location)Our client is a 200 bed, financially stable community hospital that is financially stable and has a new exciting hospital to be built by 2020 to look forward to!They are searching for a leader for their 50 bed psych unit.The Nursing Director should have once been a hard-working and compassionate nurse who steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. Being efficient, dedicated, a good listener and a problem-solver are what will open our door for you. The goal is to foster an excellent environment that will support everyone in working for the benefit of hospital and patients alike.Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities : Manage the overall clinical operations of our Psychiatry Unit.Develop and recommend departmental operating and capital budgets to ensure that the departments operate within fiscal budgeting parameters.Build a cohesive patient care team through recruitment, selection, and orientation / mentoring of new employee hires; promoting ongoing continuing education, including certifications; and maintaining an ongoing dialogue with staff.In collaboration with the Vice-President of Nursing and Medical Director, develops and manages the hospital's overall strategic plan for psychiatry services.What we are looking for : Three years of management experience preferred.Five years of recent clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.BSN required; Master's degree preferred.Our client offers an aggressive base salary, great benefits and the opportunity to make a difference in a less bureaucratic environment!For prompt and confidential consideration please apply to the link below : Click here to apply online#J-18808-Ljbffr
