Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

BiltWise Structures is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with experience in industrial mechanical systems. This role ensures our modular manufacturing facility operates safely and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and facility improvements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-minded, and mechanically driven.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

• Perform welding for structural repairs, equipment fabrication, and general maintenance needs

• Execute routine preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

• Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimize downtime

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to guide repairs and installations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including tools and parts inventory

• Support installation and modification of new or existing machinery

• Assist with facility-related maintenance such as lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems

• Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety protocols

• Accurately document work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, Experience in industrial maintenance or a manufacturing environment

• Proven welding skills (MIG and stick is a plus)

• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tools, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Physically able to lift 50 lbs

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time | Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (4/10 schedule)

• Occasional Friday or weekend work as needed

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience
