Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)

Salary: $55,151

Come join our growing Admissions and Student Services Team as we expand our student support for social work students.

Job duties will include the following:

  • Assisting Director of Admission and Student Services in all aspects of social work admissions, recruitment, advising and student services support tasks
  • Assisting Online Program Director, MSW Program Director and the Director of Field Education with tasks specific related student services and support
  • Review and recommend updates to policies for Online and MSW programs
  • Meet with and correspond with prospective social work students (BSW, MSW and online students)
  • Manage the department of Social Work's social media accounts, and monitor the department's website and social media presence
  • Support the department's continuing education program by assisting with workshop approval, marketing, and CE documentation requirements
  • Serve as Academic Advisor for Online and Brick and Mortar MSW students
  • Provide administrative support for DegreeWorks audits and maintaining databases of all registered social work students
  • Help register students for coursework

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in a university setting, or administrative office
  • Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks with competing priorities

Preferred:

  • MSW degree
  • Two years post MSW work experience
  • LMSW or LCSW or license eligibility
