Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)
Salary: $55,151
Come join our growing Admissions and Student Services Team as we expand our student support for social work students.
Job duties will include the following:
- Assisting Director of Admission and Student Services in all aspects of social work admissions, recruitment, advising and student services support tasks
- Assisting Online Program Director, MSW Program Director and the Director of Field Education with tasks specific related student services and support
- Review and recommend updates to policies for Online and MSW programs
- Meet with and correspond with prospective social work students (BSW, MSW and online students)
- Manage the department of Social Work's social media accounts, and monitor the department's website and social media presence
- Support the department's continuing education program by assisting with workshop approval, marketing, and CE documentation requirements
- Serve as Academic Advisor for Online and Brick and Mortar MSW students
- Provide administrative support for DegreeWorks audits and maintaining databases of all registered social work students
- Help register students for coursework
Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in a university setting, or administrative office
- Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks with competing priorities
Preferred:
- MSW degree
- Two years post MSW work experience LMSW or LCSW or license eligibility
