What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at Binson's Hospital Supplies Inc.?
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
High school diploma or equivalent
Registered (or registry eligible) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
Licensed through State of Indiana as a Respiratory Therapist
Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
Excellent verbal communication skills
Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record
Prior medical/DME experience preferred
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Working closely with Case management to fulfill needs for discharging patients.
Efficiently set up CPAP devices for patients, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and function.
Answer all questions regarding equipment, pricing, insurance, etc.
Process patient personal information for insurance orders
Maintain open lines of communication between the hospital and Binson's
Deliver and instruct on the orders throughout hospital/retail store and document in EMR system
Obtain verbal or written form from physician to process order
Deliver equipment to patient homes or nearby hospitals using personal vehicle
Deliver anywhere between Auburn, IN to New Haven, IN
LOCATION & SCHEDULE:
- 2934 E. Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825
- Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
