Job qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry or related field with 0-2 years of experience in biotechnology Lab
· Possesses an understanding of laboratory procedures under general supervision and conduct complex analysis
· Very good knowledge in preparing various laboratory reagents, dilution calculation, molarity conversion etc.
· Ability to perform basic and applied microbiology techniques including the preparation of various microbial growth media, microbial culture, isolation, plate streaking, staining and other clinical and industrial microbiology techniques
· Routine use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word is essential

Job responsibilities
· Maintains accurate, trackable records such as batch records and logbooks
· Performs a variety of routine reagents and sample preparation in a variety of formulations and/or biological matrices for stability and analytical testing
· Culture and maintenance of various microbial pathogens
· Handling biological fluids and infectious organisms with proper personal protective equipment
· Perform conventional/ real time PCR and data analysis
· Record and report results of analysis in accordance with prescribed lab procedures and systems
· Accurately follows production documents, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) and contribute to writing of SOPs and test methods if needed
