About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics/Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in keeping our supply chain running efficiently through accurate data management, timely order processing, and strong coordination with teams and vendors. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker with experience in logistics, inventory, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders; coordinate picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Sample Requests: Manage sample fulfillment by ensuring accurate inventory levels and coordinating the picking, packing, and shipping of sample orders.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update customer data across multiple systems with accuracy
- Inventory Management: Track stock levels and ensure accuracy across systems and physical inventory
- Transportation Coordination: Request freight quotes, schedule pickups/deliveries, and track shipments
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a key liaison among suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal departments
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve logistical issues, including delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies
- Documentation: Prepare invoices, proforma invoices, shipping documents, and maintain accurate records
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities align with current shipping and transport regulations
- Process Improvement: Assist in analyzing workflows to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Administrative Support: Answer and route phone calls, assist with document creation, filing, office organization, and other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain coordination preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
- ERP system experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Positive, proactive mindset and strong relationship management skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
