Reports to: General Manager
Job Summary:
The Plant Supervisor manages and coordinates day-to-day production activities, schedules and processes at the Nampa Production Facility, including manufacturing/mix production, transportation/delivery and oversees shop maintenance. The Plant Supervisor will achieve results by meeting production timelines, ensuring accurate manufacturing and mixes and documentation, meeting product quality parameters and ensuring a safe working environment.
This position reports to the General Manager and supports the functions and goals of the Nampa Production Facility and the BioWest Ag Solutions’ Fertilizer Operations.

Plant Supervisor and Fertilizer manufacturing Responsibilities:
· Ensure processes are met to perform accurate manufacturing processes and mixes
· Ensure products are made to quality and customer specifications
· Inspect inputs, finished products and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions and ensure quality
· Complete mix sheets, inventory logs and required paperwork
· Confer with other managers, supervisors and operators to coordinate operations and activities within or between facilities
· Plan and establish employee work schedules, assignments, and production schedules to meet production goals
· Direct, train and coordinate the activities of employees ensuring company policies and procedures are met
· Ensure and enforce health and safety regulations and take all steps to ensure a safe working environment

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience supervising and leading others.
- Excellent communication skills

· Operate production equipment and machinery
· Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment
Education and Physical Requirements:
- Formal education in agriculture or related degree preferred or 1-2 years agriculture/farming industry or manufacturing
- Basic computer skills and math calculations
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs (25kgs)
- Availability to work extended hours when necessary
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
