We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process for prospective residents and their families. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a thorough understanding of skilled nursing facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the admissions process for all incoming residents.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and their families, providing detailed information about services, amenities, and care plans.
• Assist in the completion of admission paperwork, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure all necessary financial documentation is accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with the clinical and operational teams to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the admissions database.
• Act as the primary point of contact for referrals from hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources to generate new admissions leads.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address concerns or questions regarding the admissions process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in admissions, marketing, or customer service, preferably in a healthcare or SNF setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance policies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with healthcare software systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
