Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse, as needed.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical history and treatment plans.
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and assist with medical imaging as required.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including handling patient inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant REQUIRED
- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control procedures, and general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft
- Experience with oral surgery, endodontics, Ortho, and general dental procedures is REQUIRED
- Ability to operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes is REQUIRED
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.
