We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and quick-thinking individual to join our team as a AAA Call Taker/Dispatcher. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for our members in need of roadside assistance. You will be responsible for a high volume of inbound calls, assessing their situation, and dispatching the appropriate service to their location.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer Inbound Calls: Respond to incoming calls from AAA members requesting roadside assistance.
- Make Outbound Calls: Place calls to verify member information, confirm service details, and follow up on service requests as needed.
- Active Listening & Empathy: Listen attentively to members' needs, showing empathy and understanding during stressful situations.
- Accurate Information Gathering: Verify all necessary information, including the member's location, vehicle details, and the nature of the issue.
- Dispatch Services: Efficiently dispatch service providers to the member's location, ensuring a timely response.
- Maintain Communication: Keep members informed of their service provider's estimated time of arrival (ETA) and any updates.
- Maintain Records: Accurately document all call details, service requests, and dispatch actions in our system.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other dispatchers and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Problem Solving: Handle difficult situations and resolve member issues with professionalism and a calm demeanor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a call center, dispatch, or customer service role is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Anaheim/Orange area.
- Proficiency with computers and a willingness to learn new software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
