Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and confections, adhering to established recipes and standards
- Package finished products carefully to maintain freshness and presentation during storage and delivery
- Assist in food production and preparation for daily service, ensuring all items are ready on time
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, following strict food safety protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety practices are observed at all time
Qualifications
- Proven experience in baking, or pastry arts within a food industry setting
- Strong skills in food handling, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques for various baked goods and desserts
- Experience with packaging foods for retail purposes
- Prior restaurant or retail experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Self-motivated and ability to work well with others
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs unassisted
