Position Description
BJB Properties is looking to hire a summer office assistant in one of our Chicago locations. The office assistant would work directly under the supervision of the property manager and the guidance of others. The primary duty of the office assistant is to answer prospective residents’ inquiries, schedule appointments for all prospective residents and process paperwork for leasing agents.
Position Responsibilities
· Learning the BJB Properties’ policies and procedures.
· Learning the BJB Properties’ building portfolio.
· Answer phone and email inquiries from prospective residents; uses standard sales techniques to encourage a visit our one or more of our communities.
· Process paperwork for agents.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Sales experience is a plus.
· Computer skills.
· Fair Housing training and experience is a plus.
· Must be able to work a varied schedule including Saturdays and Sundays.
· Must be able to work extended business hours regularly.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
