What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Black Butte Ranch?

We are looking for 2 Bartenders to assist our Bartending team in our Robert's Pub restaurant which is the premier place to dine at Black Butte Ranch. The Pub is located adjacent to our magnificent Big Meadow Golf Course, driving range and putting course. Our guests enjoy an outgoing, multitasking and knowledgeable "mixologist" with an appreciation for regional wine and beer. Year round positions available!
Essential Duties:
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests.
- Assessing guests' needs and preferences and making recommendations.
- Mix all drinks according to the recipes set down by the Beverage Manager.
- Insure liquor laws are observed at all times.
- Works toward the budget and service goals set for the Department.
- Work with Cocktail and Food Waitstaff by providing cocktail service to the Lounge and Dining Room.
- Keeps Bar and Lounge in a state of superior cleanliness and order at all times.
- Monitor the quality of service given by all Servers to guarantee a high level of service.
- Creativity is welcomed for new cocktail recipes.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age.
Possess OLCC service permit.
Deschutes County food handler card.
Must have 2 years of bartending experience in full service bar operation serving distilled spirits, wine and beer
Working knowledge of drink recipes and proper amounts of ingredients. Availability to work weekends and holidays.
