What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Auto Detailer position at Black Hills Works?
Wage: $15.00
Hours: Primarily Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Must be flexible depending on the need.
General Description of the Position:
This position involves assisting people supported with developing work skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment. Supports include but are not limited to, cleaning and aesthetic care for the interiors and exteriors of automobiles. As well as inspecting cars and using cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure all areas of a car are up to company and customer standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Related vehicle detailing experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Uphold standards of work contract at all times, which may include assisting with finding or providing coverage for contracts as needed.
- Understand each contract in order to complete quality checks of performance.
- Maintain and model positive and professional working relationships with the person supported, contracts, and other agency employees.
- Provide discretion, good judgment, organizational ability, initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Provide transportation to people supported as needed.
- Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Attend meetings and on-going training as assigned.
- Consistently model appropriate work skills and hold persons supported to the same expectations.
- Model and teach appropriate interaction with supervisors and co-workers at job location.
- Provide follow up, retraining and support as required to ensure tasks are completed to acceptable quality standards.
- Monitor work performance and provide feedback and prompts when needed.
- Ensure safety is being maintained in the work environment at all times.
