Stocker
Wage: $16.20
Hours: Currently hiring for evening positions working primarily between 2:00pm and 10:00pm with full and part time availability
General Description of the Position:
Perform shelf stocking functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma preferred
- GED consideration
- Same-field work experience helpful
Essential Functions:
- Capable of performing tasks required to successfully stock grocery merchandise, and achieve required quality.
- Have discretion, good judgment, organizational ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Basic math skills preferred
- Must be able to rotate by date any product with date coding.
- Able to work cooperatively and independently in a results-oriented environment.
- Repetitive and heavy lifting to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves after merchandise is received.
- Block items on shelves.
- Perform various cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, dusting, wiping shelving and sweeping.
- Follow schedules and attendance procedures.
- Effectively punch in and out for each shift.
- Attend monthly safety meetings as well as other meetings when applicable.
- Follow all store guidelines and safety procedures.
